Q: Why mobile services?
I initially started “The Traveling Chiropractor” as a service to single parents with young children in an attempt to make their lives a little easier. But, due to the convenience and flexibility in scheduling that just can’t be offered in a typical office setting, it’s proven to be beneficial for a wide variety of individuals and businesses.
Over the years, my clientele base has become more exclusive and focused. I prefer it this way, as do my patients. This “exclusivity” is perfect for those requiring, or preferring a more personalized experience.

Q: What is a typical visit like?
Patient visits will vary considerably according to the treatment needs and/or requests of the patient. Most visits will utilize a combination of the treatment methods listed on the “Services” page and visit duration will fit the needs of each individual patient.
*
Q: How do I get started?
Getting started is as easy as a phone call or email. From there we will schedule a complimentary consultation at the location of your choosing.
*
Q: What is your availability?
I am available 7 days per week including early morning and later evening appointments. I am also available for full day events, corporate accounts and athletic events (individual and team).
*
Q: Where will you travel to?
Although most of my existing patients and referrals are within and around La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach and Rancho Santa Fe, I will travel out of area, out of state and even out of country if the situation is right and scheduling permits. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
*
Q: Do you accept health insurance?
I do not accept health insurance. However, an email receipt can provided upon request if you would like to bill your insurance carrier directly. Personal injury, and worker’s compensation cases are not accepted.
*
Q: I have tried everything for my low back pain. Can you help?
Most back pain treatments are aimed at helping to control the pain rather than correct the problem causing the pain. Did you know that according to leading orthopedic specialists “some 80% of all back problems are the result of weak back muscles, specifically the lumbar extensors”? By strengthening the muscles of the lumbar spine in a progressive, intensive and controlled manner, most back dysfunction can be corrected and most back pain can be alleviated with lasting results.
*
Q: Do you take x-rays?
As a mobile service, I am unable to take x-rays on premises. If it is determined that imaging studies are necessary, you will be referred to a diagnostic imaging facility.Imaging studies are rarely necessary for my services unless following an acute injury or trauma.
*
Q: Do you accept worker’s compensation or personal injury cases?
These cases are best treated in an office setting. Therefore, I do not accept these cases.
*
Q: Are you available for emergency visits?
No. If you are experiencing an emergency please call 911.
